To finish off the album I decided to compose a trio of shorter pieces to round out all the minimalist and electronic sounds on the album, and this became the Convergence suite. The first of these features 12 string guitar and some EWI work, opting for a simple vamp and light texture over the wall of sound that is “Lux.” Added to this is some jazz improvisation to add to the organic feeling I wanted this piece to have.
